Most are in quaint older buildings, with quiet adults (often graduate students or professionals) as majority of other tenants. Unless otherwise stated:

  • Apartments are unfurnished, but with stove and refrigerator supplied.
  • Unless otherwise stated, heat, water, sewer taxes, and garbage collection are included in rent. Do not get confused by lower rents for other apartments when one or more of these are not included. Occupant(s) pay for electricity--($35/mo or so, depending on your habits).
  • Parking is off street, or easily found near buildings without charge.
  • Unless otherwise indicated, apartments have wood or wood-like laminate floors in the bedroom and living room.
  • For apartments including water and designated as less than 700 square feet, stated rents are for 1 occupant per bedroom. For each additional occupant add $25/month (the approximate cost of providing water and hot water per occupant)
  • We typically require a deposit equal to one month's rent and the first month's rent paid in full at lease signing. We occasionally will allow payment of first month's rent at an agreed later date. Section 8 participants only need pay the deposit.

  • RELATION TO CAMPUS: 1 - 1 1/2 miles east of campus. 30 minute walk. 10-15 minute bicycle ride. 5 minute walk to a downtown Urbana central bus stop with often running busses to campus.

  • RELATION TO CAMPUS: 1 1/2 miles east of campus. 35 minute walk. 10-15 minute bicycle ride. 8 minute walk to a downtown Urbana central bus stop with often running busses to campus.
